Coilovers comparison
Alright I'm wanting to replace my suspension soon and would love to go bags but that is out of my budget! well my ls400 is having that clunk noise when hitting bump etc so that's one reason why I wanna get a full set up n 2nd is to lower the car with a good clean stance! Now I know there are plenty of coilover brands out there but I can get hook up on some k-sport for under 1k but I don't know anything about these on the LS read and heard about the Megan's but not k-sport. So my question is will this be a good set-up? How does it ride? How low can it go? Any good or bad about them, all feedbacks ate greatly appreciated and thanks in advance. If you may have pics of your LS on k-sport feel free to post it so I somewhat get a visual of how it sits. Thanks

Personally, I chose STANCE. The ride is excellent once you dial them in and the ability to dump the LS lower than necessary is a plus. Though I would have liked to have went with a more "aggressive" spring rate, I chose to heed the word of those on the forum in order to maintain the luxury feel of Lexus. However....I am considering upping the rate with swift coils. The improvement in handling and confidence in such a large car was alone worth it overall.

I just put on powered by max coilovers on my ls. They were 1250 out the door, and they probably look the coolest out of all of the other options. You can basically lay frame without even adjusting the preload, and me personally, I think they ride pretty stiff. Their shop is actually five minutes away from my house, if I ever have an issue, I wont have to send parts or anything to taiwan and wait for it to be fixed. 12k front 10k rear.

+1^ think im going with these, have to do other things as well so the dollar difference from getting more expensive set I'm going to use it towards replacement parts on the LS which included timing belt kit and tune up stuff, in the end I'll have the full coilover with a nice drop etc along with new timing belt water pump so I won't have to worry about it for quite some time

I would recommend going with the BCR coilovers, they don't cost much more than the Ksports and Megans and have better features. Like locking lower rings, beefier shock bodies, available rubber mounts, and better ride quality.
I like them compared top Stance as well.
