Searched and searched and searched: Brake light problem.
Sorry to make my first post a cry for help, but I usually just do the 'ole search and lurk. Furthermore, im home on R&R and my wife is going to kill me if i spend it all on the car.
I'll cut to the chase: Ive looked high and low and cant find a solution for this. Thanks in advance!
95 LS
-LED tails
-Problem started as intermittent and is now always.
-All lights function EXCEPT brake lights. (even the tag lights work)
-NO brake lights at all, to include the 3rd.
-NO park lock issues and you can clearly hear the switch working
-NO bulb failure indicator
-All related fuses were replaced for good measure
-The wiring harness on the trunk lid all the way to the Failure Box looks good.
-The Failure Box looks ok too. Im not an expert, but nothing jumps out as bad.
-UPDATE: I took the brake switch apart and cleaned it to be sure.
Ive looked over the wiring to the tails and nothing looks wrong. Definitely going to spend more time on that.
THANKS

Ill try that, but i cant believe that all the LEDs would fail at the same time...and take the third brake light down with it..
I unplugged all the lights and the car didnt even notice the until i turned on the lights. Pushing the brake never triggered a failure light. So stupid...
I just dont get it. They worked then they didnt. Now its nothing.

The brake lights used to all work fine, so that pretty much rules out polarity. I'm going to swap in the stock lights tomorrow, but I don't see that changing anything.
If anyone has a wiring diagram, that would be awesome sauce.

UPDATE:
This morning (when it was cool out) i came out and the brake lights worked perfectly fine. Heat/humidity were the only things different from last night when they didnt work.
That makes me believe its that Light Failure box.
Thanks for all your help this far!

I am SUCKING BUTTOCKS at finding another LFS and Its like $400 at the dealer. No shock there.
I have also learned that there is no Haynes/Chiltons for the LS400. Does anyone know how to obtain a FSM?
