Are you sure he(the seller) intentionally damage the tumbler to mask out any problems the car may had? hence the low price.

Before I do that I'll change spark plugs and do an oil change and see how she runs. I also know she is burning some oil. And a huge exhaust leak makes my car sound like a monster truck... i hate it
I don't think electrical-taping the dist cable back together will work... any updates?

That is cheap for an LS400.

I have a bad feeling about the PO. I'm suspecting the tumbler is intentionally damage to mask out the bigger problem. I hope he sorts out the "no power" issue.

Good luck and keep us posted!

So currently the car sits in my backyard... I plan to repair what I can then sell her. Although she has 260k do yous think I can make a decent profit ?

Besides exhaust leak and misfiring im not sure where to start. I been trying to search for that single distributor cable from another ls400 or the 08 tundra's... Since they also carry the same engine's 1UZ FE V8 but that as well is a bit hard to find. I dont want to poor too much money into her since i already have another project.. my 240sx lol but any tips & advice would help . Ill take some pictures once im back home
