the real Toyota site is MUCH better and available by the 2 day or monthly subscription, but the cheapest/best value solution is the factory shop manual - just keep an eye on ebay and you can score one for $50-$75 if you keep your eyes peeled!
PS - the REAL factory shop manual looks like this:

I used to use Chiltons but I found it not very useful to me. The best for me regarding Celsior is this.

This is a CD-ROM which contains several different service manuals for each year models, circuit diagrams and technical service information in a 650MB disk converted to PDF files. I was once told that this was almost equivalent to buy all those printed manuals for different Celsiors paying totally for close to 1000 US dollars. Without this I couldn't keep my old 98 Celsior.
A guy who works for a repair shop sometimes asks me to help pointing out a circuit diagram in the CD-ROM. I only have payed about 20 dollars for the CD-ROM but with this + some of my experiences, what I have gained was far beyond that money.
I never have expected so but I enjoy nice dinners or coffee times with the shop owner.
I also am allowed to use equipments in the shop freely.
The CD-ROM helps me a lot. Isn't there a similar CD-ROM for LS400s in US market?
