charging issue
I recently took all the sparkplugs and cleaned them up a bit and put them back and and added a kandn air filter went to test drive and all the warning lights came on then when I used the brake the radio went off than the lights slowly dimmed until the car cut off. I got the alternator checked and was bad. I bought a brand new one and replaced it. But still the car will lose a juice and slowly die won't charge at all. I know the battery is good so I know that's not it. None off this was happening until the day I decided to clean the sparkplugs and put them back in I'm starting to think I messed something up and caused the alternator to go bad. Would appreciate some suggestions on what I should do? Was thinking about going back and checking all the plugs and wires.

i just brought a new alternator cause mine did this yesterday after i changed the brake pads, it happened because my power steering pump was leaking and all the fluid leaked into the alternator because its right below it, so id be checking your power steering pump for leaks.
Now ive got the fun job of changing my power steering pump and alternator which both landed today haha.
