If I could do the work myself, I'd get the car, repair it, and swap in a W58, for sure. Since I have no experience with body work or welding, I'd move on. If Spencer's post doesn't give you seconds thoughts, I say go for it.

make sure that front end is accessible for 3-500$

What good is a 750$ pile when you aren't able to get the parts for it?

I'd go for it.... if you have the room and a little know how you'll be good.

Who cares about paint, i'd rattle can the damn thing and rock it as a winter beater/daily. You're still ahead of the game even if you can't turn it into a VIPOMGSUPERCAR
