Random No Start Issue 93
Hey guys,
I was hoping for some guidance on repairing a friends LS400.
93 LS400 with 180k miles.
Car stalled one day and wouldn't restart.Tow truck got there, car started right up.
We cleaned the throttle body and replaced the fuel filter, as a precautionary measure.
The car will start and run perfect. NO codes, no stumbling or loss of power. Shut off car and try to restart, starter engages perfectly but won't start.
So i'm thinking it could be
ECU
Fuel Pump
Fuel Pump Relay
TPS?
Any ideas? Thanks dudes!

you seemed to have checked fuel but did you check for spark?
ie-the entire ignition system?
Also, the ECU is getting power right? You know if it is or isn't depending on if the CEL lights up when you put the key in the ignition and turn it to ACC/ON (it's supposed to turn of after you start the car)
