Default Newer 1uz in UCF11?

So I've got a 93' UCF11 with 128k miles on it.

I recently warped the heads due to a combination of laziness, being broke, time and neglect. This resulted in the mixing of coolant and engine oil so needless to say the old motor is gone.

SO here's my dilemma. Professionally replacing the motor will cost close to $8k.

I'm not doing that for sure. But I found this JDM 1UZ out of a 98-00 GS400 close by that I can pick up. Here's the link:

http://dallas.craigslist.org/ftw/ptd/3293452311.html

They want $1,200 for the motor tranny etc. Is it plausible to get this powertrain in my car for no more than $5k including cost of motor? I might be willing to pay a little more seeing as how this setup has 300hp/300lb-ft and a 5 speed auto compared to 250hp and a 4 speed. Has anyone else put an OBDII motor in an OBD1?

I'll be able to afford doing this over the next couple months but don't know if its worth the time and money. HELP!!!!

I'm not much for projects cars if you need a daily. For $5K, I would buy another car and 95-97's can be had. May not have the bragging to say it has a GS400 driveline though. With the improvement in engine capabilities, I'd consider the Supra or 2-LS front brakes on the 1-LS.

There would be a lot of work involved, the wiring loom will need to be changed, ECUs will need replacing, gear selector needs replacing and exhaust probably different.
Personally I wouldn't even consider it find another UCF10 engine and then plug and play.

it's unlikely it'lll go in that cheaply. especially since the GS motor will need to have its oil pan and sump swapped out for an LS one as it's a different sump configuration.

EVERYTHING will need to be replaced. complete new harness, the motor, trans, driveshafts, rear end ratio will be off, fuel pump will need to be upgraded, evap system will need to be updated, throttle pedal will need to be changed (drive by wire), and more...
