SC430 Wheels. Opinions?

Those look good. I like the pie style 430 wheels in that they are different. But I don't know how well they will look on mine. As I said, have not been able to find any GS, LS, and I was also looking for some 7 series wheels. No other Genesis wheels that I see right now as well. Those are good looking wheels on the Genesis sedan. Most of the newer wheels are double in price. Trying to stay in the $500 range.
Here is another option. They are asking 600 Probably could get them for 5 - 550 with used tires.
These 19" 5x114 8" front 8.5" back G37s Sport OEM wheels. Similar to the 19" Genesis couple wheels.

Yes, I am back. I am finding lower prices but most have damage I don't want to try to repair. Also, that was 450 with tires. The newer set is down to 350 with tires. That's pretty good. Not a huge fan of the style but I want to stay pretty stock for now. I just ordered 4 new kyb struts and not going to lower it right now. Need to be able to load her up and take trips without bottoming out.
So, oem size is 245/40/18 on the 430. Is 245/45/18 the correct size for my ls?

Can you check that info PD. I'm getting 40 on the sidewall as oem. I decided to go with the 2003 SC430 wheels. Can't beat the price and they have 30% tread life on the Kumho Ecsta Asx. Picking them up tomorrow. Just to confirm, no problems for fitment right?
From what I can gather, 245/45/18 will be the closest to 22/60/16 stock.

245/45-18 is the stock size.

Ah, stop looking at the SC, it has a different stock tire size than the LS (smaller). the LS430 is the direct comparison for size. as the width is the same it'll fit on the SC430 wheels just fine.

those sites are wrong if they say 245/40-18.
245/45-18 is the stock size.

I can deal with the speedometer being off a bit running 40's but would prefer 45's for comfort. Being on a budget, would you get a set of 245/40ZR18 93Y Michelin Pilot Sport A/S + 70% tread for $350? Same price as the rims and tires... But these Michelin's are a $275 tire. Very expensive tire! New are a bit of a rip off compared to nice used tires it seems. Definitely harder to find the 45 sidewall.
So, is that Michelin worth going with a 40 sidewall? New 245/45's that are at all decent are starting at $140 before the works. Also, any new tire this size with with a 45k rating is $200 plus each. I've never done a used set of tires before but I think I'm about to start.

Well, it worked out this time...
I decided to go with the 2003 SC430 wheels. Got the guy down to $300 because two of the tires are right on the edge. Rims are in great condition. Need very title touch-up work.
I went right after to get the set of used Michelin Pilot Sport A/S + What a lovely tire. Totally out of my budget if they were new. Guy already sold two by the time I called him back..
But since two of the Kuhmo's are in good condition I bought the two Michelin's $150, which is a really beautiful tire. I will probably try to keep those in the back till I get a whole new set. Both are 245/40
So, I am happy with it. But I do have a little more to go. Apparently, the calibers do rub up front so I am going to need at least 2 spacers up front. No problem, but how about some advice on which ones and would it be smart to do the studs too? The guy had one 5/16 spacer there but it was still barely hitting the front break caliber as she turned. How about some expert advice so I can order my parts. I am going to do the suspension, brakes and wheels all at the same time. All I need is the spacer parts now.
1 Best spacer setup that will do the job I need? 5/16 was not enough.
2 Even though the back don't need them is it smart to do it for looks?
3 Should I get a spacer set with with the studs?

Craigslist is pretty good for this stuff. Just don't be afraid to wheel and deal.
