I'm replacing the front brakes on my ls400 (1990) . The hardware that came with the calipers has two small clips (one for each caliper). The old brakes didn't have these small clips (around 7/16") . Any ideas?

Hi guys. New here. Today I started putting front brakes back together (replacing front rotors, calipers and pads) and noticed one small clip (about 7/16") in the hardware package that was not on the set of brakes that I took off. Was just hoping some one knew what this is for and where it belongs. Any ideas? Thanks for your replies.

Turns out the clips are for a different model Lexus.
