7" should be just right. That's what my double din touch screen is, I believe.

I've had mine for a few years so it's probably a really old model by now, but it is a Pioneer avh-p4200dvd. Really easy to use, sounds great with my nak speakers, iphone integration is my favorite part.

Ok I've researched that model. Did you purchase a separate amp to power the sub woofer? And what face plate did you use? I'm leaning toward the avh-8400 though.

Yeah, I got a steal from a friend on a sub/amp/box. 1200w sony xplode 12" sub in band pass box with 1000w sony xplode amp. I know, xplode isn't the greatest stuff but you can't beat $40 for all of it lol. It's enough boom boom for me.
I'm pretty sure I just used the metra double din face plate, I bought it off ebay for cheap. I recently upgraded my sub installation kit to a KnuKoncepts 4 gauge 100% oxygen free copper (ofc) kit. It was $50 and all I can say is WOW. Sound is clearer and seems louder. Wire was super flexible and all hardware and rca's were really really nice.
