Default 1995 LS 400 Front end Wanders

Hi,
I have a 1995 Ls 400-with 97,000 miles. The front end wanders left to right and the tires chirp when turning. Is the tie rods or control arm. It seems to loose it self even when going straight.

Thanks,
Bob

For the wandering, search this forum for strut bar bushings ... lots of previous threads about them. Have you had an alignment done recently? That should show what's going on.

I have no experience with tire chirping - check the trunk for birds?

My car is lowered a little on Megan coilovers and I was having that problem too until I got an alignment a few weeks ago. How is your tire wear?

You are going to have to take a look at the suspension components and see which one has play.

A lot of places do a free alignment check.
I go there and play dumb and say hey I need a alignment. They usually check it out and say before we can do it you need to fix...etc. etc.
Then I say well let me take it to my guy
Free diagnosis then I know what I need to fix.

great thing about doing the inner and outer tie rod ends, is that not only is it easy and cheap, but it makes your steering solid as a rock like when the car was new!

I do this on my cars every 100K, just for the new car feel!
