In my honest opinion it's going to look silly. With the stock ride height they will most certainly poke.
Running anything other than the factory recommended tire or bigger on a stock ride height car is dumb.
This is only my opinion.

My buddie has the exact same car he's running 20s with a datasystem air controller on stock bags for 2 years never blew a bag. But when I do drive I obviously wouldn't put it on the lowest setting and drive. What would be a good size tire for these rims if I'm just leaving it stock air ride? I'm not even putting a air controller in just pure stock with some shoes.

whatever is standard fitment for that width.

Probably something along the lines of 245/40-19 or around there, double check.

he's either very very lucky, or drives it at stock height and just parks it low (several members i know of did/do just that, way more do it in the LS430 forums)

why ask questions and do all that work just to sell the car?! if you continue to drive it, i hope you fall in love and keep the car.
