weather protective rubber mats might be in order also... those seemed really dirty. Great job and thanks for the heads up.

Yeah, I just picked up a set of carpeted mats. Aftermarket from the Toyota parts shop at a Toyota dealership nearby. I surely would love a set of OE mats but can't justify the $85.

That's worth an experiment. May want to try a not-so-important piece of carpet so that in case there's an adverse effect because of mixture, you're not completely fudged.
