New LS400 owner
Hi all,
Just thought I should introduce myself.
Have been looking for a Lexus for a long time.
I wanted either a LS400 or SC400 (or in Europe a Toyota Soarer).
Could never find anything right and on impulse one day bought a Cadillac Seville STS.
Very nice car, but I was scared off about all the faults they can have, although mine never had any except for a broken alternator. Easy fix and can happen to any car.
But at the beginning of this month I found a 1994 LS400 in really nice condition and now own it.
It is the Cadillac in every way, except for a lot quieter and a different shape.
I absolutely love this car and use every excuse I can find to drive it.
Had one small problem with the drivers door lock, but fixed that with WD40.
My plans are to change the audio for a multimedia system and at a later date try and track down a leather interior (Mine has cloth).
Apart from that, what a car!!!

welcome, and sometime i wish my car came in cloth interior. how many miles are on the clock? makes sure to hit all the maintenance requirements especially if you are unsure. check the FAQ sections for lots of guidance.

Cloth interior, no sunroof, side markers, different wheels, and it looks like headlight washers - this has been mentioned before in the fora, but I forget what special model it is, perhaps European.
Congratulations, you will love the car even more as time goes on.

It is European (Dutch) and has approx 200,000 miles on the clock. (Rough conversion from kilometers)

I believe the wheels are after market as they are 8 x 17 with 225/55/17 tyres.
Don't know what make (nothing on them to indicate).
