I've been reading and searching this a ton but am still confused as I'm not an audio expert by any means. Can someone with experience please confirm that buying the Beat-Sonic SLA-22AD with an aftermarket headunit (planning on double din Pioneer) will be plug and play retaining my stock amp and sub?

I figure contacting Beatsonic directly would be the best approach. Ask about return policy. If it doesn't work how you wanted you might be able to send it back.

Default connector harness pinouts/schematic

I have a 97 ls400 with the nakamichi headunit. sorry to drag this old thread back. i pulled out the head unit (it's dead). the connectors, do you have a schematic or pinouts for those? no one around here wants to deal with this, so i'm doing it myself, once i have the pinouts figured out and labelled, then i can begin shopping for an aftermarket radio to put in my car. like, power, illumination, speaker outputs and so on. i know the harness in the dash connects to the nakamichi amp. things like, line level inputs to the amp, or are speaker outputs going directly to amp, what lines power the amp/turn it on, and so n and so forth. i'm pretty resigned to the fact that my multi disc cd changer is going to be an orphan.
