Here the ball joint and the part number. Hopefully you can read the tag? He also said he can get me the strut rod bushings for $120 each, which is about$30-40 cheaper than Sewell!

very good price on the ball joint, but I think he needs to double check that strut bar pricing, I can get that genuine Toyota part most anywhere online cheaper - his price to you at the same level of discount as the ball joint should be more like $93 - make sure he is checking p/n 48670-40011

and I think you mean entire strut bars, not strut bar bushings, which are very inexpensive

I'm refering to these. He called them radious arm bushings, but I know them as strut rod bushings. Unless of course I'm wrong?

I have only found them for around $80-100 each, but for off brands?

I might be wrong but I'm pretty sure these are whats popping in my front end when turning.

So far I've replaced
:stock struts with coils
:lower ball joints


Need to replace
:tie rods
:strut rod bushings?
: upper control arms or just the bushings
: end links

I cant confirm that at the moment. I'll ask him this coming week what the part number is.

With the discount on Sewell, the part is $144.81. So if he can get me the same part for $120, I'll be happy with that knowing they are OEM parts.

Not familiar with a '93, but those "bushings" you show look much like the upper support mounts at the top of the strut tower. Those would definitely NOT be the same as the Strut Rod Bushings, and suspension knocks are almost always caused by worn out SRBs. They are basically a sacrificial component of the cushy LS ride (good for ~50K miles); the rest of the suspension components are much more durable.

Bushings you can buy but I think they're a pain to put in. http://www.lexls.com/tutorials/suspe...aizenkit2.html And for what it's gonna cost, ya might as well get new UCAs b/c the ball joint is probably bad also.

When I was browsing the net the other day looking at parts. I thought for sure I found a couple different sites selling the whole upper control arms? I know they were not the OEM ones but I thought those could work?

there are a lot of threads on here of people trying different aftermarket upper control arms in order to save money, most of the time, it does not turn out well, but there may be a good one out there, just do a lot of reading on here!

1st gen LS400 strut rod bushings are what are pictured. they look and are set up completely differently from '95-00 cars. as the bushings are setup that way, they are more expensive than the 2nd gen bushings/arms.
