that is the Earthquake brand I was referring to, about the only thing better is Ingersol Rand at about 3 times the price!

It puts down atleast 330ft/lbs is as every bit as strong as an 18v snap on.
No, the air tool is far stronger than any 18v from any maker, not even close!

I am currently looking into grabbing the aisin timing belt kit with water pump, tensioner and everything else for ~200$ on rock auto.

Anyone tried the aisin kit? Did it have the correct belt??
yes, the Aisin kit contains all of the real Toyota parts and is the only "kit" you want
also check for the Aisin kits on ebay, often even cheaper than rock auto, especially when you factor in shipping

I was talking about the Chicago electric 18v cordless impact and comparing it to the 18v snap on. They put down ~330-350 ft/lbs which is more than needed for almost everything on a street car.

yeah. the problem with that plan is, while a crank pulley bolt might only be torqued to 180-200 ft. lbs, it can take 600-700 pounds to break one loose that has been on for decades, not to mention the fact that even if you go to break a bolt torqued at 180 ft lbs and turn around immediately to break it loose again, it is gonna take 400-500 ft. pounds minimum. It's physics!

In other words, your 18v cordless impacts are pretty much worthless for this application, just not enough torque to break this one. - might be OK for lugs nuts though
