LS400 shift **** options (unorthodox choices)
^Joyfast in my ride
I was sitting in my car today and thought, I want a new shiftknob. In all my previous vehicles swapping out shifknobs was easier (more choices) because they were manual transmission. Well I just threw on my Joyfast super short **** to see how it would look and I think it looks decent. Maybe a nice ball **** like what the IS300s came with would look good in the LS interior?
^ I have always liked spherical shaped ***** and I think it would look nice in the LS400.
dollhead shifter anyone? Might make you look like a cereal killer perhaps lol
grenade? OOO rah?!
Devil...sinister. Imagine this a in a black interior LS400...looks mean.
*If anybody whats to know where to get some of these crazy ***** I can post up where I plan to buy mine but wanna make sure that posting up wont violate forum rules?
Does anybody know the shifter thread size? I plan on ordering some custom ones.
P.S. Here is something I really want in my LS400 (coming from the Honda/JDM scene...this shiftknob would look sick in the LS400)

ummmm..... I thought this was the site where half the people here are slamming their cars, etc
why are some ways of ghetto-ing your car into a hoopty acceptable and some tasteless and tacky?
if you want classy, leave it completely stock, if you want to customize then go crazy, I say! - take some design cues from the original slammer as shown below:

^^Oh yea, "The Love Machine" Those were some good times!!!!!
I've always had a nice T-bar on all my shifters before my LS but those were standards. Now that I have my LS I feel that the stock shifter fits it perfect. But.......to each his own.

I'll try to snap a pic or few for you guys during my lunch.
Actually the beer tap can look good when done right, I'm just not a fan personally because they're not very comfortable to hold lol.

If you want automotive absurdness, look at the Cressida Message Boards... i REALLY hope that crap with the 10 foot tall tail pipes and the tranny coolers mounted on the bumper with the hoses running directly through the grill NEVER catch on here...

There are various car cultures in Japan of this theme. That will not be very common here due to some of the VC restrictions for US cars. Luckily it tended to be mostly 70's -80's era rides. Amusing though.
