Manual Transmission Conversion Question

The adapter kit plus the clutch will run you around 12-1500. Then you still need to get and install a clutch setup (maybe 200-300?). Then it comes down to the cost of the trans. You might be able to find a good used one for around 500 give or take. Last thing you will need to do is also get a driveshaft made. 100-200 there. So when its all said and done, if you are doing the work you can get away with under 3k. BUT expect to add a decent amount to this if you are paying to have it done.
It's a straight forward swap but pretty hard at the same time.
Oh, and you will have to make a trans mount and install a hand brake too.

Hydraulic E-brakes are sexy. I have no idea where you could squeeze one in the LS without getting in the way of something... but, rest assured, a handbrake turn will the so much easier in comparison to a footbrake(?) turn (God knows how that would go - having one hand on the release and the other on the wheel would be an interesting ordeal indeed).

hydraulic turning brakes don't replace parking brakes. Not a good idea to use a hydro handbrake for parking as it can cause issues leaks.
