Thanks! I basically want to flush mount 1 in the dash like this, so I can get a nice voltage readout of my main battery (if both batteries were hooked up to each other, would that voltage reading show the total of both batteries, or just the front battery?)
And have the other in the trunk behind a sneaky panel to measure the trunk battery

Dranom - With the key just turned to ON, you should get around 12.6 V, or a bit higher if the car has just been run, assuming a good battery.
At a fast idle or above, you should see greater than 13.6 V if the charging system is working correctly.
