If I had a bad coil wouldn't it still miss out with the afm unplugged? If it controls air fuel and spark then the only thing I could think of is that an o2 sensor may be bad.....

well here is an update, went ahead and replaced the coolant temp sensor just because of how everyone said how much better the car ran after doing so, I decided to go ahead and run the car without the afm plugged in since it ran great, this past week i have been noticing a little miss at start up and take up but perfectly fine after the first take off. I took the egr valve off yesterday tested to see if the plunger was operating like it should and it does not move up or down when applying voltage to it. I went ahead and took it apart and cleaned and was able to get the valve move up and down using an allen wrench with no problem but when applying voltage to it there is no movement but you can feel the motor engaging like it wants to. So now to decide if i am going to find a good one at the junk yard or do an egr block on the car and further diagnose this damn missing out issue.
