lol falken FKs are crap for stretching, they have weak sidewalls that bubble too easily. There are better more flexible brands for stretching.

Michelin Primacy MXV4 has my vote, although I yearn for a Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3.

I always used Azenis or Ziex, only ran Fk452 or whatever it is once on my SRT8 although they wasn't stretched. 70% of my stanced buddies run Falkens and we haven't had an issue yet. I guess it all depends on style and amount of stretch.

In daily drivers I have become quite fond of Michelin Energy Saver summertyre:

It has now been updated to Michelin Energy Saver Plus. Great ride, silent and it laaaaaaaasts.

Love the Michelin Primacy MXV4's, got a nice discount when I ordered through Sears.com, but when it comes to installation, that's another story.

I brought my car to our local (understaffed) Sears and was very grateful when the one Auto Center tech offered to stay passed five o'clock to install my tires. Three were easy enough and the forth required a trip back the next morning. By noon I was happily on my way, contemplating a four star Yelp! revue.

When I got back to work I noticed some of the valve stem caps were missing. Not a big deal, they're four for a buck, so I would just pick some up later. That got me wondering if I received the new valve stems I purchased. Well, they were only $3 a piece and if they are old, they shouldn't give me any problems anyway. Now I'm thinking it's a wash, a little extra service here, cut a few corners there, I would skip the Yelp! revue.

After work I got the caps and was shocked when I went to put them on. Some of the balance weights are just hanging on.

And all four hubcaps have damage from removal.

Staying late does not excuse actual causing damage to my car. I guess I'll get started on that Yelp! revue after all.

for the daily drive and non modified cars, i always recommend to go to costco and get either michelin or bridgestone. costco carries only higher brands, with the best warranty, and nitrogen filled. prices seem high but the tires last double the mileage.

for modified cars, it all depends on budget and purpose.

I definitely agree about Costco, one of the few non-evil big companies left, but as far as the specific tires, depending on what model of car, you can't really make broad generalizations - like in the case of the LS400, Michelin and Bridgestone both make a extraordinary tire (Primacy MXV4 and Turanza Serenity Plus, respectively) however for another make and model, Michelin and Bridgestone may only make a very mediocre tire and other brands may be the ones to beat.

my buddy is a tire engineer, he confirms Michelin makes some of the nicest tires out there. (at least in terms for road noise and comfort)

i wonder if theyll still bbe quiet and comfortable after i stretch a 225/40/19 on a 10
