I have an opportunity to but a Lexus LS400, a 1994 for $11,000 with 148K miles, and a 1995 with 115K miles for $15,000. Both are in great condition from a local Lexus dealership. Do you think these are fair prices, which one should I consider, and why? Thanks in advance.

I have a 94 with 99K in south dakota that I would sell for 11K. I bought it from Lexus of Minneapolis for $12,500 last summer.

Either way the 1995 is the best bet.

Hundres of improvements and fixes, plus the 1995 is more quiet and quite a bit faster than the 1990-1994s.

good price on either but the 95 would be better; i bought my 94 ls400 for 8300 but that was with alot of talking and cash and it had 154,000 miles on it with all the service manuals,receipts and records.........a 1 owner vehicle; mannnnnn i 'll sell you mine for 10,000
