Default A little advise on popping dome lens

I read a couple of threads suggesting screwdriver on windshield side of lens. Couldn't get mine to pop out..??? Any other tips?

Screwdriver worked for me, however I went in from the side as opposed to the back. Make sure it's a small one to fit between the groove, and just wedge it out gently.

Just did this the other day to fix my leaking sunroof. You need to pry from the rear side. There are tabs in the front (near windshield) that will break if you pry from there. You might also need to pry from the left and right sides.

Also, I would recommend you put a thin layer of electrical tape on the screwdriver so you don't mess up the plastic.

Two screwdrivers might work good too.

SUCCESS!!! Thanks again everybody... damn I love this website! UCF11R and aomdedude1 were 100% right on this one. Removing the lens from the windshield side would have, more than likely, broken the two tabs. You must start from the rear side.

Where would we be without our collective of LS400/Celsior enthusiasts. I've taken much from this forum, I gotta give back somehow haha.
