Default rubber floor mats

Does anyone know where to buy a set of black rubber winter floor mats for the LS430? I have been told by my dealer that they are not made by Lexus. I have seen some aftermarket sets on the internet. Does anyone have any experience with these?

My favorite is from Cannon, supposedly can contain 1+ qt of water/ice/slush. They also have the carpet version that can hold about the same amount. I don't know McNeill Automotive website but I guess you can do a search. An easy way is to find an automotive magazine such as Car and Driver or Road & Track or the likes and find McNeill ads. A local (to me) Lexus dealer sells this at a price that's only about $10 more expensive for both front and rear sets. No idea about individual prices. They are available in 3 colors, black, tan and gray. Hope this helps.

Talking

Two years ago, I needed mats. After extensive netsurfing, I purchased a set of 4 McNeil Weathertech mats for my '97 Pathfinder.....about $80.

Shortly after that, I bought a set of 4 Wal-Mart 'good' all weather mats for my '01 GMC Yukon XL....... about $22.

The Wal Mart mats meet or exceed the heft, flexibility and capacity of the Weathertech mats.

Since then my daughter and I have put the wal-mart mats into her '99 GS400 and my '97 SC300 (took a little trimming). I'm convinced you can't buy better at any price.

Good Luck,

Barry

Angry

I have found some OEM Lexus LS430 rubber floor mats on Lexus Canada's web sight. www.lexus.ca/ They are $140.00. Rather Steep, and strange they are not made for US use. Anyone have any ideas on how to get them in the US?

Making my own out of this material. That thing is great, absorbs dirt like crazy and easy to wash. Expensive though.
