eh personally i wouldn't put much effort into a set of 1st gen heads.

VVTi style heads are where the flow's at. they flow ridiculously well. Valves are >1mm oversized compared to '95-97 heads, and even more over '89-94 heads.

kinda. they'll bolt on but won't just interchange. Because of the lack of distributors they would require a full custom harness and standalone EMS, as well as some fabrication to lock the VVTi function as the older blocks wouldn't have the correct oil provisions for the vvti mech.

The way I see it, I'll have my buddy gasket match a spare head (in case he hits water jackets or something to ruin them), that way I still have a running car and no downtime.
