So My 1LS with 185K is dumping the water pump. Gonna have mechanic replace it so I figure I'd take care of some other things while the engine's disassembled. What do you guys suggest?
I've got so far:
distributor rotors and caps
spark plugs
thats about it.

you can buy a kit with timing belt, water pump, guide pulley, tensioner pulley and tensioner for between $200 and $250. All of these are a definite should replace if you are replacing water pump.

definitely install the Aisin TKT-030 kit - it includes AISIN Water Pump, KOYO Idler Bearing, NSK Tensioner Bearing, NTN Hydraulic Tensioner, Mitsuboshi Timing Belt - all of these are the actual brands that were on your Lexus when new!
also, I would add cam and crank seals, and a woodruff key to that, all in genuine Toyota - and a set of NGK or Denso plug wires, and ECT sensor if it hasn't been done.

make sure the mechanic uses genine Toyota red long life coolant and distilled water!
