tire wear question
Brand new winter tires, i do admit i have quite a bit of rear negative camber (3.5 degrees). However i checked my toe front and rear, 1 mm in total.
Car still pulls a bit to the right.
My front right(passenger) tire is fine
front left has mild cupping on the inside
both rears have severe cupping on the inside.
When I was running sumemr tires, high pressure, stretched, 35 sidewall it was fine on the rear-other than camber wear.
Could the cupping be happening since this is a winter tire running alot of camber, so the tire is flexing and torquing alot? Thanks.

Cupping is normally caused by bad alignment or worn suspension components or both.
And all bets are off on proper tire wear if you deviate from the factory amount of toe, camber, etc. - just ask a NASCAR driver!

I'd would go over your suspension and check for worn parts, before you do anything else. If you find anything replace it and all associated parts and then get an alignment. If you do not have the ability to check this yourself, get a shop to.
Another thing to check is that none of your adjuster bolts are frozen and seized. If they are you won't be able to get it aligned until they are replaced or at least freed up, removed and cleaned before being slathered in anti-seize and put back in.
Even just getting an alignment at another shop might be worth it as running an aggressive stance can cause problems for some alignment shops.... And if the car has seen winters before, you are likely going to have rust issues causing seized parts.... Another thing that many alignment shops struggle with. Some even cheat and flex your suspension in order to get nice numbers for their sheets. If your bushing and packed out, and joints are all worn, and/or adjusters seized... you can never get a proper alignment!

I say post a pic..some call cupping when its actually feathering or something else, which falls in line with what cowboy is saying..since u have such camber going on u r going to have uneven wear anyways
