Default cowboy's favorite LS400 tools series

gonna start posting some tool ideas for your LS400 - tools that make me happy and make working on these cars fun!

1. No bolt on your LS400 is too tight for the persuader!

2. these wrenches will deal with those stubborn smaller stuck hoses!

3. these wrenches will save your bacon in a tight spot, so you are not there all day!

4. this compressor is so quiet, I can use it outside while the neighbors are sleeping, it's not much louder than a computer!

5. This $20 headlamp is the best I have ever used, and I have several that were over $100
make sure to get the awesome lithium batteries for it as well!
(this seller is in Hong Kong, so it takes me 2 weeks for things to arrive from them, but worth the wait!)

Good subject.
Those ratcheting Gear Wrenches are nice.

I'll add wobble extensions for the ratchets, your preference in 1/4", 3/8" and 1/2".
Same with U-joints.

Sears is everywhere though the current ones are from China. Thread here if interested: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/the...-in-china.html

Craftsman wobble extensions

please edit your post so that we can make out what the items are without opening the links. This will be useful for future readers as the links will inevitably break and people will be left wondering what they're missing out on.

Those are all good items, those gear wrenches are really thin on the end.
A quiet compressor is freaking golden, I hate loud compressors.
The long pliers are pretty awesome too.
and who can't go wrong with a 3/4 monster breaker bar, no heated up and cooled ruined axle nut is safe!

That headlamp is the king, I have a 5xXML monster I use for dog walks/bike/dirt biking/ATV at night and its wonderful, headlamps are the best lighting tool ever for cars, way better then trouble lights.

If you do not have one of these in your tool box, you have wasted far too many hours messing around with hose clamps....

This is the first and last impact gun you will ever need, I've had mine for over 10 years of daily use as a Technician and will still break any nut free. Rugged, light, fits into tight spaces and is super quiet to run! Costs a lot but don't waste your money on other guns, even the $700 Snap-on guns do not compare! http://www.ingersollrandproducts.com...ies/2135QTiMAX
The matching ⅜" gun makes short work of just about any routine disassembly, and will speed up repairs drastically.

Soooooo many more handy tools to have

have to say though, i'd buy a better pair of hose pliers than from Harbor Freight (craftsman/snap-on/matco/etc...) and a cheaper breaker bar. I've broken a couple breaker bars and it's a lot less painful when you break a $10-15 HF breaker bar than a $50 bar.

I think you will have a tough time breaking the bar I recommended, unless you put a long pipe on it, which at 40" shouldn't ever be needed unless you are working on giant heavy equipment

here is a better than harbor freight version of the flexible hose clamp pliers

One of the best $4 i've ever spent was on one of these claw pick-ups:

Ever drop a little nut or bolt into a place that is impossible to get to? Well, here is your tool.

Comes in handy for running wires as well. Also works wonders around the house.

And when you are not doing anything, the creepy little claw at the end can be used to give people the ******!
