I'm happy with my MOOG arms, almost 5000km and not a complaint.

That is the kind of info that is valuable to me.
Thank you for the feedback Shmee.
I am going to try out rack ends/rod ends/LBJs first and go from there.

You can check to see if you need to replace parts. Search for my coilover how too, there is a test you can do on any style ball joint. Thoroughly go over your suspension and try and replace everything worn at once, then get an alignment. Doing it part by part and getting it aligned after each change, or not getting aligned at all, can be very expensive! It's best to everything at once!

It would be cool if those of you who have purchased aftermarket UCA's could post the country of manufacture of your UCA's and well as a review of their installation ease and performance, so we have sort of a database to separate the good ones from the junk.

Exclamation

I got GENUINE Lexus UCAs for £125 per side plus shipping to the UK.

Do any of you guys ever use Amayama.com? All genuine parts straight from Japan and they arrive easily within 2 weeks or less. Every suspension part I've searched so far has been available, and prices are around 50% of what they would be over here. Nice excuse to do a full suspension refresh on mine

I had been wondering about this company for a long time!

Their prices are just crazy!

Thank you for the heads up Munday!
Depending on what shipping and taxes cost. it looks like Amayama is a winner so far.

But you had not used them or posted any thing about them until now?

Hope it can help you guys out, On a £330 (with shipping) order I payed £70 tax. Still waiting on a £580 order that is currently held in customs. Please bear in mind that with shipping and tax it doesnt work out quite so cheap, HOWEVER its still significantly cheaper than genuine parts locally, and not so much more expensive than non-oem parts.

My order from UAE came within a week! The one from Japan very slightly longer but it held up at customs due to the delivery guys not contacting me, not amayama's fault.

I purchased Dorman UCAs from Advance Auto parts for my '90. Using their coupons, they came out to $80 each.

They were stamped made in Japan.

Unfortunately, they don't seem to be in stock from Dorman anymore... :/ Who knows if it'd even be the same supplier again. For $80 each, who really cares when the dealer sells them for $400+ You could take that $800, invest it, and get enough return every year and a half buy an aftermarket control arm. After every two-three years, assuming you do the work yourself, you could just replace them regardless of condition.

The Dorman ones are very high quality and have been problem free.
