I don't like black since I am often in a hot, dusty area of CA, but it sure looks nice when cleaned up.
Ask for a shot of the seat bolster. Is it torn up?

these are 2x-3x the price he wants to pay. i would suggest looking for a really clean 1st gen ls400. instead of a beat up 2nd gen

 

i paid 1k flat for my 1ls with 217k on it. did the full Tbelt,Wpump, crank ,cam and oil pump seals. took forever doing it myself. also plugged the air control valve on the power steering pump. all in all im under 2k for the whole car she shes good to go for another 100k at least. really happy with the car right now
