Default Part number of power steering solenoid gaskets

Does anyone know the part number of the gaskets (O-rings)?
I did a search but was not able to find the information.
1996 LS400.
The solenoid screws into the power steering rack housing, between the two there are two gaskets(O-rings), a big one and a small one.
The bigger O-ring is mounting on the steering rack housing. I tried several one inch ID aap O-ring without success. I will have to get one from Toyota or lexus dealer.

Thanks

The problem is that the steering solenoids have never been an "orderable" part from Lexus, and therefore the gaskets don't have part numbers either to the best of my knowledge.

What are the original gaskets made from? Are they copper rings?

the part in question is not sold separately. Its sold with the valve assembly.

Can you get it to work with some Teflon tape and a copper gasket?

Default Which O-ring

This one is a problem. We all know that o-ring would have to be replaced as they are pretty old. What do you do if the manufacturer does not provide/support one.

Teflon tape is not going to work. There has to be a way to purchase an identical o-ring elsewhere. There has to be a way to determine the exact size of o-ring and purchase.....

I did a quick search on o-ring size and there are loads of information about describing sizes of o-rings. I am sure there are retailers specializing in selling them too. Why not look into it and first determine the exact size then to try to purchase one. Knowing the o-ring size would have to be metric it will be a good project.

And let us know as we all have to replace the o-ring sometime.

the nice thing about doing auto air conditioning for 20 years is the large variety of high quality o-rings you end up with!
