Oh wait, now I remember, because they know more about auto repair than anyone on the planet! - not to mention that they get me laughing so hard I can't even function for an hour!
only this fellow is really in the same league of car diagnosis

I don't diagnose from 70psi I diagnose from the hydro lock that occurred from the injector being stuck wide open when I tried to start it in the morning.
Trust me 87 fuel has 0 to do with this failure I have ran almost 100k miles on 87 no ill effects .
It does pick up a bit of power with premium but not much the difference is not worth me spending an extra 30 cents per gallon.

no, we are talking a whole other level of auto mechanic, these two knuckleheads - Tom & Ray have degrees from MIT and are friggin hilarious, and over the last 37 years have taught the most knowledgeable mechanics in the country the art of troubleshooting by understanding the engineering of the underlying systems in combination with good old common sense!
Not many auto mechanics ever took a thermodynamics class in their life, much less at MIT, and on todays modern cars, boy does it show!
if I just needed to rebuilt my sister's 1984 Camaro 5.7L - then 2carpros or Eric the car guy would be fine, but not nearly as entertaining or authoritative.

mildly entertaining? - when I listen to them, I am laughing so hard that I am a menace to the other drivers on the road!
I truly believe if you listened to 10 years of their shows, and understood what was taught, you could work as a senior mechanic in any auto dealership in America

I used to enjoy listening to Tom & Ray's radio program when I was in the USA. It was my favorite program indeed. They taught me a lot. Without them, I couldn't be here at the Forum and also shop owners never asked me to help. I liked their way of thinking and suggestions.
Listening to the program, I thought the mechanics there in USA were nearly as good as them but soon I realized not so. That's why people ask Tom & Ray so many questions not relying on mechanics.
Are you trusted well by customers, xspsi6?
