99Ls400 stock navi unit swapped FINALLY and I need Speaker help plz ...
So I finally swapped my stock navi unit to a non display HVAC control unit that bolted right in with no problems and I upgraded to an app radio that's so awesome making life much easier and I was able to wire the radio from my stock amp that had only covered all the interior speakers BUT my Sub in the back ... I need an amp and a sub based on the fact that if i keep the same sub that came with my car the after market amp will blow it out ... Now here is my question .. whats the size of the sub in my 1999 lexus ls400 Nakomachi radio (if spelled right) ? and Also what power of an amp do I need to have for that single sub?

Congratulations on your success to swap, flyboyplo.
I have a question. Are lights in the HVAC control unit work at night?
Hope your success to get it work the sub soon.
My way to work the sub was to use low pass filters and a home made digital amplifier which has only 16W output power. I find it's a bit less than I have expected. You'd better to have at least twice more than this.

Well this is what I picked up when I changed out my system and I love it. I even got the mirror link working using my Note II.
I kept all factory speakers for the time being and they are doing just fine.
