Howdy Everyone - o2 Sensor Question Here
Hey Everyone,
It has been a little while, although I'm back under the dream machine and loving it.
Here's my question, my car has ~220k on it and is a '99 LS4. I popped out one of the o2 sensors today in between plugging my ACV valve to take a look at it and see how it is. I'm afraid the resistance is too high on this sensor because I get a reading of 13.7 at about 71 degrees in the room. Mind you the car has not been run all day and it is only about 80 degrees outside to begin with.
These are the Factory Original Sensors for what it is worth.
I took a video showing how I was testing it. If anyone could give some feedback as to if I am doing it correctly or if I need to do it differently to get an accurate reading.
Thanks again guys,
Happy Easter
Matt

Thank you for the help peter. At 13.7, looks like I'll be replacing both pre cat o2 sensors.
Peter do you have any experience with aftermarket o2 sensors?
I'd much rather go with oem as theoretically it should give more precise feedback and the ecu is designed to work best with oem o2 sensors anyway. Unless someone has had great experiences with the reliability of aftermarket sensors I'm oem all the way.
Thank you everyone
