Ok, and?
You are not him.
Have you driven his cars?
Do you have a fraction the experience he does?
None of what you just posted or linked to negates anything I have said.
The law of averages suggests that it is not impossible to get a decent part from eBay, in fact there are tons of reputable sources for parts on eBay. But when you say "eBay turbo" most people assume you mean the $100 t04 turbos from china, not a $500 GT35 reberb from an authoized Garrett dealer. Who knows, he could be Frankensteining his eBay turbos and not posting about it.
I have never said there is anything wrong with doing budget builds... But if you have zero experience with building 8sec cars "the right way" to begin with, you probably are going to struggle to do it on a junkyard budget without any tuning experience.
The LSx is a completely different beast then a 1UZ...
Nobody is saying you cannot do it, but you might want to do a lot more research before throwing a couple grand at something. No offense, but some of your previous posts/threads do not suggest someone with a decades worth of experience of building cars.
You also have no answered the questions posed to you.

They do use chinese turbos...
and no im not him. But I can tune a car easily. tuned many cars on Hondata, and some DSMlink.
And yes I have a fraction of his experience. I used to build custom rock crawlers for competitions. Then I built myself a track car, was burned to the ground by a drunk, built a BMW track car, build many hondas, those are like building with legos - any A-hole can do that. Mostly fabrication and design. Easy to start with nothing and end with something.

We're your rock crawlers fuel injected or carb?
It seams like you have already made up your mind. So go for it.
But I think you need to do a lot more learning. I recommend that book diyautotune has made.
There is a lot more involved than just bolting parts together. You need to learn how the ecu works. You need to learn how to tune. Do you have a local dyno? If this is going to be a street car you probably want to find a place that has a load bearing dyno.
Do you know anything about fuel/air ratios?
What are you going to do when you install everything and it doesn't start?
The engine needs more fuel when cold than it does when warm.
You also have to adjust how much extra fuel the motor gets when you suddenly give it gas.
And how much boost do you plan on running? Aren't these motors high compression? Do they have Forged pistons?
I think it's great you want to play with tuning. But for beginners, twin turbos, and E85, on a motor not designed for it might be a little advanced.
Maybe get a stock turbo beater and play with tuning.

carb. I built REAL rock crawlers. not those ugly V8 talentless monstrosities.
And yes. Ive tuned many vehicles. I know about AFR.
15psi boost. 10.5:1 compression. Cast pistons.
Nobody said I was throwing all this on in a weekend and then driving it. My whole goal of this thread was to get tuning software reviews from people who are running them. Not a bunch of nay-saying.

Problem is that there are not a lot of "LS400" guys running MS or any other stand alone ECU on their cars. I'd hazzard to guess 99.9% of the people on this forum. Stop after an exhaust and maybe a modified intake.
You would be best off reading up and asking on 1UZ face book group. There are guys who build 1200hp 1UZ's or swap them into all manner of other cars that would probably have a ton more experience with standalones than you will get out of here.
There is a wealth of knowledge in here, but probably not what you are looking for.
