get the car to a height you're comfortable driving, then think up clever plates.

ive got a 92 (UCF10). my definition of "stupid stiff" and yours may be very different. its more then fine for me. its a heavy *** car so its not the same as having those rates in say a honda civic lol

PD - I am doing the ride height first. I just thought those plates would be funny.

Aeok - my idea of stupid stiff is being able to handle like a go kart. I just want to be able to ride hella Low.

Well I'm 5'10 and about 215lbs i can press down on the front and rear fenders with moderate force and shes not moving at all. I think it feels damn good driving around. you might want to lessen it a bit. give the guys at circuit motorsports a call. while there ship times suck , they DO know what they are talking about and are pretty knowledgeable.

The UCF10 weighs some 3700~3900lbs and is about 2 football fields long... You can make these cars handle pretty well but they will never feel "nimble" or "handle like a gokart."

If you want crazy/stupid stiff rates, I know of a set of 326power Coilovers with something like 36kF and 32kR rates.

14/12 or 16/12 springs rates should be all you need.
Order some BC's with either of those rates and with matching valving and the "ULTRA-low" option and you'll be fine.
CL Vendor: Circuit Motorsports is super nice to deal with and has great prices. If you are going tea low right out of the gate, spring for a full set of SerialNine adjustable arms to get the alignment right.... And be sure to get the alignment done immediately after the install or you'll shred your tires within a week!

I didn't know anyone made arms for the UCF10. I knew people made stuff for the UCF20 but I thought the UCF10 was **** outa luck.

Another +1 for BC coilovers. I have them on my ucf10 and sw20 mr2 and they've been holding up great. The off the shelf spring rates are a great balance for daily driving. Keep in mind if you go really low you will need to cut clearance holes in the towers for the UCAs for max suspension travel. On the lowest setting I was dragging all 4 mudflaps and the factory exhaust.

I know about cutting the holes for the UCA. I'm willing to do a little cutting to get low.

BC gets my vote as well. very good for the price and they can drop excessively low!

I'm planning on going stupid low. I should be able to get away with it as the roads here are fairly decent. only one crappy road ill have to travel daily to school, but as long as I take my time I should be fine.
