Ok so I played around with it for a few hours when I had some time the other night. Seems like the biggest problem is that it wasn't breathing enough. I pulled the MAF and the air cleaner and then fired it up with just the MAF connected to it. It ran beautifully for over a hour and was able to drive it all over town. The next day it was back to running like *** again barley moving under its own power. Still idles perfect but now it's very hard to start and stumbles over itself when I touch the gas at all. Ideas?

Sounds like he's looking for guesses that are free!

My suggestion is buy/borrow the service manual and start testing things rather than blindly throwing darts at the wall. Pull the codes, check manual, test what it suggest and you will know what to fix. If you cannot follow a basic diagnostic procedure, you should not be trying to fix your own cars.

Free - generally speaking - does not fix a car. Coils are not terribly expensive and the symptoms are spot on.
