Default Can't remove glove box to access CD Changer

I have removed the following screws
  • 2 Screws on the top Inside the Upper glove box
  • 3 Screws on the top Inside the Lower glove box
  • 1 Hidden Nut Inside the glove box
  • 1 Hidden Nut to the right of the glove box (had to open car door to access)
Here I have uploaded pictures of the screws I have removed

What steps am I missing to remove the panel to remove the CD Changer?

Thank you - mcrypt

There are 5 to 6 different threads on the first page alone that should be able to aid you.

This one seems to solve most peoples problem: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/288233-post2.html

Good luck with your "search".

the secret is to keep on reading until you understand what you are reading, and get a minds eye view of what you have to do,,,, you cant just read it one time and go and do it or you could do it without reading it... think of schooling, it was not so much what you learned, but you learned HOW TO LEARN... that principle still works today.. you can do it....

Well the issue Is that when I pull from the right side of the lower glove box I feel resistance when pulling the glove box out.

I don't want to snap the lower glove box to get to the 2 bolts in between the lower and upper glove box, are there hidden clips that I need to pull down on before pulling the lower glove box out?

I personally just go really slow on trim work, because it is easy to rush it and get these kinds of problems, - but that is the only way I can make it look like new is to go slow and study the logic behind the factory thinking!

this should help: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/ls4...ent-issue.html

mine was, by that I mean I was not "yanking " on it, there was what I considered normal resistance, and if I remember correctly(I am over 80) I used a little twist (back and forth) with my pull. that is as good as I remember, since it was about 5 years ago..

can anybody out there help answer his questions??

There is a triangular trim piece on the lower right. It has to be slipped out and there is a bolt under it which must be taken out. Be careful, as you can see, I broke mine.
