But, does the actuator going bad make the battery run down?
Absolutely yes! It would cause your interior lights to stay on because your car thinks the door is open even while closed. You can turn off your dome light, but the lights by your feet will stay on. I'd recommend disconnecting the battery till your ready to go to the dealer tomorrow to save the charge.

This doesn't appear to have anything to do with the door locks auctuator. The door locks work fine. It is the little rubber piece / switch in the door (the one that lets the car know if the door is open or clsoe) that is shorting out. I took a 10MM and disconnected it today and as you move it around it eithers makes the interior lights come on or go off. Wierd thing is that it is doing it on both doors. Should be easy to replace but the wires looked sautered.

You can either replace the courtesy switches or do what I did...sand the contact points in the center of the switch. Look closely at the switch and try to figure out how electrical contacts are made (hint: two contact points in the center body of each switch), then sand and cleanup the contact points and you are good to go. Your alarm systems rely on the info from those switches to function correctly.

Post your results would you?

I found out it is actually called a pin switch. me and my brother removed them and sanded them down with some fine sand paper but they are still malfunctioning.

Like I've said so many times, it's probably the door lock actuator. It's the part that hits the latch when you close your door. Have your dealer inspect it & tell him exactly what's going on. You're wasting your time trying to fix the problem yourself. There is probably an updated part that will fix the problem.
