ABS and VSC issues on a 1998 LS400
I recently had my front wheel bearings replaced by a mechanic that was a friend of the family. And it seenmed to have caused some issue with my abs. It feels like the abs is activating at the end of breaking. A day later when I put the car in gear the abs kicked in whenever applied pressure to the accelerator untll I turned the VSC off with the switch, then it SEEMED fine. about a week later the ABS AND VSC lights came on on the dash, but the vehicle breaking SEEMED to be normal or at least the way it did before replacing the front bearings. Any ideas, thanks in advance.

I have this issue right now I can relate I have zero stopping power the car stops like ****. I am going to be looking at a rebuild kit for the calipers as well as bleeding the brakes. My suggestion take it to somewhere and get it scanned then make a prognosis after you found the culprit. My solution to the issue you are having now was to change the OCV (oil control valve) that resolved my dilemma but my abs has not been working since I took it to the shop to change out my left hub assembly. I will be taking a closer look at the car next week and might be rebuilding my brakes and adding on some more stopping power. Which EBC pads do you guys recommend I get for normal daily driving and occasional WOT tests lol
