Radio and Keyless entry doesn't work - 98 LS400
I have a 98 LS 400 all factory original.
This morning the keyless entry doesn't work. I tried using both remotes, and replaced the remote battery.
Once I got into the car, it started fine. I pushed the volume **** on the radio to turn it on, and the radio will not turn on.
Both the radio and keyless entry worked yesterday.
I have checked the radio fuses and they are fine.
Has anyone experienced this problem?
Thank you for your help!
John

I have islolated this problem to something on the Dome fuse circuit that has power when the key is off.
The fuse blows as soon as I put it a new fuse.
The doors are closed
ignition is off
key is NOT in the ignition
hood is open.
What circuits have power on the dome circuit with the key off and the door closed? Somewhere there is a short that has power when the key is off. I can;t locate the short.
Thank you for any help!

I am at my wits end with this problem. I still can't figure out the problem.
I removed the radio and unplugged all the radio wires.
I disconnected the wires to the two visor vanity mirrors.
I don't have the optional factory cell phone.
I removed all the bulbs in all the interior lights.
The Dome still blows.
What else can I do to find the short?
Help!

One side of the dome light is always connected to the battery via 7.5A Dome fuse which also supplies the DC12V to the Keyless computer as well as to the audio unit. The Keyless computer is connected to the Multiplex body computer. That is way I suspect one of these are drawing too much current and opens the fuse.
