Default Air shock front 98 fit on 96?

Will front air shock from a LS400 1998 fit on a LS400 1996?

The 95-00 have virtually identical suspensions. So as long your 96 also comes with air, or you have the required parts to make it work, there should be no issues.

Thanks
Yes my 1996 has got air suspension, but they are leaking.
I have a pair of 98's on hand in good condition that I can replace them with, I was unsure because they have different partnumbers.

is your 96 a Celsior? there could be differences in the plumbing and control of the parts but the physical envelope and packaging of the parts should be the same. double check BEFORE you remove the old parts that the new parts plug in both to any electrics as well as to the pneumatics.

should be the same. just FYI a celsior is the japanese version of the LS400. there could be difference from the japanese counterpart so make sure it's exactly the same when swapping (which i suspect should be).

It is Lexus LS400 1996 years model. The Lexus parts have different numbers from 95-97 than from 98-00. So there is a difference to the facelift model 98, but it could be something minor, but I do not know what. Anyone?
