Hello all,
I am pretty good at researching on the web and on here but I am at a loss when it comes to finding a source for an OEM fit carpet kit for my 91 LS400.
I am wanting to freshen up the car because it is not going anywhere in the sense that it looks like I will be able to count on this car for quite a long time to come, even with 320,000 mi on the clock.
The car is 23 years old now and the previous owner really trashed the inside with spilled coffee and other types of stains on the carpet.
I was considering just swapping the carpet out. I cannot find a source for direct fit carpet anywhere. Any ideas? If I have the carpet shampooed I might be able to get it to look decent but if I can get new I will.
Aside from Lexus of South Atlanta ($950), any other choices or ideas out there?

You could try looking for one in the junkyard that's in better condition than yours and have it steam cleaned. Other than that unless some dealer has some old inventory laying around it will be difficult to find.

try to contact Yamae, he is in japan... see if he can find one for you, give him color and vin #... no one in America makes them..
if you are looking at something low price, then dont bother him.. think BIG money$$$

Starting to look like steam cleaning is the way to go. I certainly do not want to spend in the hundreds for carpet. I was also thinking of buying a roll of the proper type and color and cutting to fit myself.

sha has the best idea, find one in a junk yard and have it cleaned.... if the shape is not steamed in, it will never be right.....

I have restored some old cars and the carpet is always the weak part
