It seemed a little high to me, but experience from many years of Toyota ownership has me convinced it's worth a little more for the red and white box
So you did the cam seals, which requires removal of the cams? That sounds like a huge job. I'm wondering if it'd be better to hold off on that until the need is there? Or is it much easier with the front of the engine apart?

I replaced my first pan gasket at 14, been working on cars ever since, had my own shop for 30 years, retired 18 years ago in 96, so I am over 80 today, and my thoughts are, if the cam seals are NOT leaking leave them alone........ if you are hunting for work, I would recommend replacing your motor mounts, I would bet they are in two pieces like mine were.... and my tranny mount also SEE

The cam job is difficult but like Billy said if they are not leaking when you go in to do the TB/WP you can leave them alone. It's recommended for the 97 and down engines because the are so easy to change. I did my cam seals in May of this year at the same time i did the TB/WP since I had oil literally run out of the bottom of the engine.
Well if you notice I didn't say get THIS kit. I said get everything in this kit. I meant to source the parts, like sha outlined. I will be doing the exact same in 8k miles. Didn't mean to confuse or mislead (especially with the 97 parts, Sewell automatically saves whatever vehicle I was recently browsing under).
