Default 92 LS400 trunk lid

What is the trick to get the liner off to have access to the tail lights? That is how to do it with out scratching paint and goofing things up. Does the plastic gray post on the RH rear pull out of the clip in the lid hole?

Just use a panel remover.

Yeah easier said than done. I want to do it without goofing things up. I tried a panel clip tool it won't fit under the one on the rh side in rear and super difficult to get in there with out bending the panel. I need a good video of it.
The mechanics I know well, body and interior I'm an idiot.
