yes your right about the japanese perfer cloth over leather.

Most of the older people are the main buyers of the crown. But for me my OLD Celsior the leather seats killed me in the winter months so when I changed cars I got the cloth.

The younger group that have the VIP cars change the seats over to leather if that car does not come with it.

That Toyota Century looks completely retro. But not good retro like the new T-birds. More like the old Chrysler Imperial's from the early 80's. It's no wonder they won't bring that car here. Old Chryslers aren't exactly popular here these days. And what's the deal with those side mirrors put half way down the fenders? Maybe those were designed for pulling campers or boats or something.

The Toyota Century is not really retro.......because basically its never been changed. It was made for Japanese royals, and they are REALLY conservative. Since the car debut in 1967, the shape and looks of the car remains pretty much unchanged.

But I have to agree with you all........its darn ugly.......I think the Aztek looks better!!!

Hmmm...that's a bit of a stretch. The Pontiac Aztek is the ugliest vehicle ever built, no question about it. I always laugh at the people who drive them. If only they knew how ridiculous and tasteless they look. Around here, the most popular color of those God aweful vehicles is school-bus yellow, which just adds insult to injury.

The Toyota Century is not a car YOU drive. It's a car for you to sit in (in the backseat) so your DRIVER can drive for you. It's for really, really rich people (like royalty, Hugh Hefner types, etc). Celebrities don't even get in one.
