HELP-car cutting off while driving
#121
Since it cost you some major time, was it 2 months in the shop? And also cost some $, why not have them point out where the looseness was at to help the rest of us out. I really was under the impression that the power to the ecu would be fed through connectors, and usually they are multi connectors so if one is loose lots of other wires are loose too. Yamae's static ecu test would have probably told you that the ecu was not powered up, as well as not getting injection signals etc.
And lesson to us all, with electronics and electrical faults always check for power.

Yea thats what im saying about the chip lol but honesly im just wanted my car back and wanted to leave,he said power wire or power plug if not mistaken but i knew it probly had to be from when my driver side from lower ball joint broke because it hit the ground pretty hard and drug the ground a few feet so i think that made it loose because thats when things start to act funny with the car, over all 2 months and only 280 i guess i cant complain

Hey guys im having the same issue. Ive had this issue intermittently, Where itll stall while driving. Then itll start back up.then one day pulling out of a parts store, it died. And refuse to start but keeps cranking. Towed it home.Replaced my fuel pump. No avail. +B with key to on is showing .25 volts. If memory serves me shouldnt it be at 12+ volts? Ive tried jumping +B amd FP, and still nothing. I check for power on the fuses and efi relay and all is good. Check for power in the trunk through the fuel pump control with the green wire and red/black and have no power. Im stumped! Btw its a 94 ls400.
Ps. I did rub through my fender harness but got that squared away and tucked. Whats the yellow insulated wire for? It rub and exposed the wiring. I fixed it and covered it.
