Default Officially A Proud New Lexus LS400 Owner!!!

Hi all of you people at Club Lexus,

I haven't posted here for about 3 years now and this is merely only my second post. Thing is, I have been waiting for the right Lexus that meets my criteria. They are also quite rare to buy around here, especially in the condition I wanted so I almost gave up and bought a Audi A8, BMW E39 or a Mercedes W140 I was deciding on right as this Lexus came up... If not, it would have been one of them. Actually was just about to buy the BMW before I came across this Lexus LS400. I have wanted one since I was a little kid and I finally own one! I'm very excited to enter the world of being a Lexus owner! I purchased a beautiful Lexus LS400 1995 model with full Lexus service history, a low 169,000 km's, it is a pearl white, all original and very well looked after. Had the full report done and it came up great. Just had the timing chain done too at 140,000. Feels, looks and drives incredible! I am on my third day of owning it and I can honestly say, I am ecstatic with it. It has exceeded my expectations. What a beautifully engineered piece of machinery inside and out. Now wonder this car won so many award and took the world by storm the way it did.

Anyway, I just thought I would say hi to all your Lexus enthusiasts and owners and look forward to having a great experience on this site.

Here are the pics of my LS400:

Still can't believe I own a Lexus LS400! I have been learning a lot about it and plan to take care of it as best as I can as I plan to drive this car for as long as I possibly can.

hmm i think he is from new zealand, judging from the right hand drive configuration. the car cannot be a JDM model as they were toyota badged as a celsior.

welcome and glad to see a nice example for an early model UCF20 in your hands. i too have a 97 pearl white on grey interior, and love it! enjoy and ask questions if necessary if the FAQ did not already answer them.

and our cars have timing belts, not chains !

Yeah, where's the steering wheel? ;-) I am guessing he is from the state of Victoria in Australia.
Nice front license plate! jk

Haha. Yeah I'm from Melbourne, Australia. Thanks everyone! Yeah it's beautifully kept. Is it normal for a Lexus to still have that new car smell? I mean, it's beautifully kept but it is 20 years old. Is love to keep this new car smell in it for as long as I can too.

Also, the only thing I noticed is that every now & then, the RPM dial sometimes gets stuck on 0 & won't move but it's only happened like twice so far & then randomly starts working again as I drive it. Any ideas on this?

Thanks guys.
